Isolasi Senyawa Bioaktif dari Oscillatoria sp. Sebagai Antibakteri Escherichia coli

Abstract


      The study of the isolation of bioactive compound from Oscillatoria sp. as antibacterial Escherichia coli has been done in December 2017. Bioactive metabolite was isolated based on bioassay-guided separation with several steps of chromatography. The maceration results showed the potency of antibacterial activity of 8.75 mm diameter, while the positive control of chloramphenicol is 8.70 mm diameter. Furthermore, isolation using the partitioning technique showed the potential activity of the K1B15 fraction with a diameter of 8.80 mm, while the positive control was 6.75 mm. The result of thin layer chromatography showed that the active metabolite compound had two different Rf values. Based on the results of photochemical tests indicate that the active metabolite is the alkaloid compound. Bioactivity to Escherichia coli bacteria showed activity at a dose of 100 μg/mL, with the result that Oscillatoria sp. has a potent activity against Mycobacterium Escherichia coli.

       Penelitian mengenai isolasi senyawa bioaktif dari Oscillatoria sp. sebagai antibakteriEscherichia coli telah selesai dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2017. Metabolit bioaktif diisolasi berdasarkan bioaktivitas melalui beberapa tahapan kromatografi. Hasil maserasi menunjukkan adanya potensi aktivitas antibakteri berdiameter 8,75 mm, sedangkan kontrol positif chloramphenicol berdiameter 8,70 mm. Isolasi lebih lanjut menggunakan teknik partisi menunjukkan adanya potensi aktivitas dari fraksi K1B15 yang berdiameter 8,80 mm, sedangkan kontrol positif 6,75 mm. Hasil kromatografi lapis tipis menunjukkan senyawa metabolit aktif memiliki dua nilai Rf yang bervariasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji fitokimia mengindikasikan bahwa metabolit aktif termasuk golongan senyawa alkaloid. Bioaktivitas terhadap bakteri Escherichia colimenunjukkan aktivitas pada dosis 100 µg/mL sehingga memiliki potensi sebagai antibakteri Escherichia coli.
