Analisis Hasil Tangkapan Jaring Insang di Kuala Baru Kabupaten Aceh Singkil

Abstract


Jaring insang merupakan salah satu alat tangkap yang banyak digunakan oleh nelayan di Kuala Baru Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknologi penangkapan ikan dan komposisi hasil tangkapan, keanekaragaman, dominansi serta ukuran hasil tangkapan alat tangkap jaring insang di Kuala Baru Kabupaten Aceh Singkil.Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik distribusi frekuensi hasil tangkapan yang diperoleh. Jaring insang yang digunakan nelayan berukuran 20 set atau 1000 m dengan lebar 7 dan 14 m yang terbuat dari bahan PA multifilament mesh size 5 inci. Nelayan jaring insangKuala Baru Kabupaten Aceh Singkil tidak menggunakan alat bantu penangkapan. Komposisi hasil tangkapan jaring insang di dominansi oleh ikan tenggiri (Scombiromorus sp 54,80%) sebagai hasil tangkapan utama, dan hasil tangkapan sampingan berupa ikan parang – parang (Chirocentrus sp. 11,02%)  dan hiu (Charcharias sp 34,16%).Selama penelitian diperoleh indeks keanekaragamanjaring insang adalah 1,01, yang berarti keanekaragaman relatif sedang. Indeks dominansi0,39, yang berarti relatif rendah. Ukuran hasil tangkapan pancing selama penelitian sangat bervariasi.

       Gill ne tare included as fishing gears which are extensively utilized by fisherman in Kuala Baru of Aceh Singkil Regency. The objective of this research is to know the fishing technology and the composition of catches, the diversity, dominance, and catch size of fishing line and gillnet in Kuala Baru of Aceh Singkil regency. The analysis is conducted descriptively in the form of tables and the distribution graph of the catch frequency obtained. Gillnets used by the fishermen are about 20 sets or 1000 m wide with a width of 7 and 14 m made of 5-inched PA multifilament mesh size material. Those Fishermen who use gillnets and fishing line in Kuala Baru of Aceh Singkil regency do not use any fishing aids. The dominance catches of gillnet are mackerel fish (Scombiromorus sp, 54.80%) as main catch, and by-catches is Herring fish (Chirocentrus sp 11.02%) and shark (Charcharias sp 34.16%).During the research, the index of diversity of gillnet were1.01, which means that the diversity is relatively moderate. The dominance index of gillnets is 0.39, which means relatively low. The size of catches from fishing line and gill nets during this study varied considerably.
