RESISTENSI Escherichia coli TERHADAP ANTIBIOTIK DARI DAGING AYAM BROILER DI PASAR RUKOH (THE ANTIBIOTIC RESITANCE Escherichia coli IN BROILER MEAT AT RUKOH MARKET)

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran resistensi beberapa jenis antibiotik terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli yang diisolasi dari ayam broiler di Pasar Rukoh. Prosedur identifikasi E.coli menggunakan metode Bacteriological Analytic Manual (BAM) dan pengujian kepekaan bakteri E.coli terhadap antibiotik dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram (disc diffusion method).  Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 sampel bagian paha atas dan 4 sampel bagian punggung dari ayam broiler, antibiotik yang digunakan yaitu ampisilin, gentamisin, streptomisin, siprofloksasin, eritromisin, sulfametoksasol, dan tetrasiklin. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan resistensi antibiotik streptomisin, eritromisin dan ampisilin sebanyak 8 isolat, tetrasiklin dan gentamisin 5 isolat,  siproflokasin 4 isolat dan sulfametoksasol 3 isolat. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan Isolat bakteri E.coli dari ayam broileryang diperoleh menunjukkan tingkat resistensi antibiotik cukup tinggi, kecuali antibiotik jenis sulfametoksasol. (The aim of this study is  to get an overview of antibiotic resistance in some types of Escherichia coli which isolated from broilers in the Rukoh's market. Identification test of E.coli used Bacteriological Analytical Manual (BAM) method and sensitivity test for E.coli to antibiotics is done by disc diffusion method. This study used 4 samples of upper thigh and 4 samples of the broiler’s back, the antibiotics that used were ampicillin, gentamicin, streptomycin, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, sulfametoksasol, and tetracycline. The data were analyzed descriptively. The  results of this study show resistance to the streptomycin antibiotic, erythromycin and ampicillin as much as 8 isolates, 5 isolates for tetracycline and gentamicin, 4 isolates for siproflokasin and 3 isolates for sulfametoksasol. The conclution is this study showed a fairly high level of resistance, except kind of sulfametoksasol antibiotics.)
