STRUKTUR HISTOLOGI KULIT IKAN GABUS (Channa striata) (The Histology of Skin’s Snakehead Fish (Channa striata))

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui struktur histologi kulit ikan gabus. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kulit bagian dorsal dan abdomen dan diamati dengan metode histologi eksplorasi. Pengamatan dilakukan setelah pembuatan preparat histologi yang diwarnai dengan Hematoksilin-eosin (HE) dan Masson trichrome. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan struktur histologi kulit ikan gabus terdiri atas tiga lapisan yaitu epidermis, dermis, dan hipodermis. Epidermis yang tersusun atas sel-sel epitel pipih, sel mukus, club cell, dan sel pigmen. Dermis terdiri dari stratum spongiosum dan stratum compactum. Hipodermis terdiri dari sel lemak, serabut kolagen, dan pembuluh darah. Epidermis bagian dorsal pada kulit ikan gabus memiliki sel mukus dan sel pigmen yang lebih banyak daripada bagian abdomen, serabut kolagen lebih banyak ditemukan pada dermis bagian dorsal daripada bagian abdomen dan jariangan lemak lebih banyak ditemukan pada hipodermis bagian abdomen daripada bagian dorsal.

ABSTRACT

This research aimed was to know the histology skin of snakehead fish. The samples were came form dorsal and abdomen of skin and observed by histology method of exploration. The observation of the histology was conducted after the made of histology preparation which was stained  by Haematoksilin-Eosin (HE) and Masson trichrome. The result showed that structure of skin snakehead fish consisted three stratums which epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis .Epidermis consisted of squamous epithelium  cells, mucus cells, club cells, and pigment cells. Dermis consisted of stratum spongiosum and stratum compactum. Hypodermis consisted of  fat cells, collagen, and blood vessel. The dorsal epidermis of snakehead fish had more mucus cells and pigment cells than abdomen epidermis, collagen was more prevalent in dorsal dermis than in the abdomen and the fat tissue was more common in the abdomen hypodermis than the dorsal hypodermis.
